What is UNIQUE is YOU choose which boxes of those little party-starting 45rpm records are at your event and EVERYONE is welcome to look and select some songs as we curate a warm and inclusive party. It’s like an interactive jukebox coming to life. Only danceables, only songs you love.

My name is Sam / DJ Watermelon Nights and I’ve been slinging soul, world disco, boogie, rock and guilty pop records for over 10 years now at weddings and bars all over Australia, in Seattle and Beijing, and festivals such as Dark Mofo, Falls, and Panama. You can also find me DJing a fortnightly Sunday Jukebox at my favourite Melbourne venue, The Northcote Social Club.

What I’ve learnt is that vinyl records and in particular the 45rpm format (AKA 45s, singles, 7”s) are perfect for weddings and parties. A room full of love + records = maximum party potential.
